Judging from the new movie posters for GODZILLA, the Japanese kaiju must have inhaled more radiation from the recent Japanese nuclear power plan leak because he's twice as large as the original. Preview the new movie posters featuring our favorite super-sized Japanese monster.

Godzilla is getting a second chance at redemption when the Japanese classic monster gets another American reboot. The Godzilla origins story involves the monster being a mutation directly related to the nuclear radiation after America dropped the bomb during World War II.

On the new movie posters for GODZILLA 2014, the mutated lizard appears larger than his predecessor. Of course we got the explanation. If the story to GODZILLA sticks to its origins, the monster's rebirth may be yet another outcome from the Japanese radiation this time from the 2011 Fukushima nuclear accident which was caused after a tsunami hit the Japanese coast.

In the official synopsis for GODZILLA, it's revealed that the Toho's iconic monster will be battling "malevolent creatures, bolstered by humanity's scientific arrogance, which threaten our very existence." Watch Trailer
