The latest trailer version of THE LONE RANGER is clearly from the filmmakers behind the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. Disney’s cookie-cutter new trailer has the feel of the blockbuster pirate movie, except in a new setting – the Wild West.Pirates of the Caribbean franchise producer Jerry Bruckheimer and director Gore Verbinski bring us the adaptation of the television series starring Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer. The team (Depp, Bruckheimer, Verbinski) behind the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise are obviously catering to the same fans with a fun feel to the new Disney action adventure film. The early teaser trailers for THE LONE RANGER were darker in tone with the theme of revenge being the focus of the July 3rd release.
A benner for THE LONE RANGER was also released showcasing the leads and Helen Bonham Carter and Tom Wilkinson.
