Colombian Reggaeton star J Balvin's life story is coming to Amazon Prime Video as a documentary, THE BOY FROM MEDELLÍN. Monday, Amazon announced the streaming channel acquired the new documentary from Matthew Heineman (WHEN LAMBS BECOME LIONS, A PRIVATE WAR).

GET DUKED's premise is a hilarious one in that the Duke of Edinburgh aka Prince Philip is secretly killing off slackers in the Scottish Highlands. CineMovie talked to director Ninian Doff and the cast about this black comedy that's a cross between TRAINSPOTTING, THE PURGE and BEAVIS AND BUTTHEAD. BILL & TED'S EXCELLENT ADVENTURE was quintessential 80s, and for the time it was a novel concept but the 2.0 version feels out of date in BILL & TED FACE THE MUSIC. However, Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter are most excellent as Bill and Ted especially when they meet other versions of themselves in the future, but their offspring were mere carbon copies of the original dudes that never catches on. There's one new character that steals the show.

Wrestling fans were not thrilled to see the actor attempt a comeback after winning the WCW World Championship in 2000 in an apparent gimmick. He wants to set the record straight on that win, and earn fan's respect. He looked to lucha libre in Tijuana for training, and the experience ended up transforming his life. The YOU CANNOT KILL DAVID ARQUETTE documents his journey to overcome his personal issues and legitimately become a wrestler.

Don't expect a biographical documentary on Robin Williams in the new film, ROBIN'S WISH. Instead ROBIN'S WISH sets the record straight about William's suicide. His widow Susan Schneider Williams describes how the comedian/actor was literally not in his right mind when he took his life. After his death, an autopsy revealed he was suffering from a degeneration of the brain called Lewy Body Dementia. Two-time Academy Award®-winner Barbara Kopple chronicles the misson from the very start through the disastrous result. The mission was jinxed from the onset. The film offers much detail about the incursion into Iran during the dead of night with some never before seen archival material and animated re-enactments.

RZA directs the riveting and timely, CUT THROAT CITY, a crime thriller that explores the reasons why black men turn to crime when there are no other options available. The film which is now playing in movie theaters, stars a solid cast with Shameik Moore (INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE, DOPE), Ethan Hawke, Terrence Howard, Eiza Gonzales, Wesley Snipes and Tip T.I. Harris. If you liked SET IT OFF (1996) starring Jada Pinkett-Smith and Queen Latifah, this is a more violent male version of that film.

Russell Crowe's UNHINGED is the first major theatrical release to hit movie theaters in months, playing in 1,823 North American theaters. The thriller earned $4 million over the weekend, which in ordinary times would be considered a weak opening, but given the landscape - Solstice Studios is happy with the box office results. In addition to touting their successful release, the studio's official statement seems to be trying to convince movie-goers that watching films in a movie theater is safe.

Matt Reeves laid out the entire story for his take on THE BATMAN, and it's going to be epic. Described as a detective story, Robert Pattinson sets out to solve some heinous murders in Gotham City. Inspired by the movie CHINATOWN, this version of the caped crusader will not be an origins story but as someone coming into his abilities. A first look was released, and the mood is definitely dark and gritty.
