Chivas USA fans got a visit from Captain America as he swooped into the StubHub Center in Los Angeles from the sky and later shot at them, but not in the way you think. Watch the video of the superhero surprise.
For the season opener of The Chivas USA game against the Chicago Fire on Sunday, March 9th, a famous Marvel superhero dropped in for a half-time surprise. Over 8,000 soccer aficionados watched as Captain America parachuted in during the intermission. The stunt was to promote Marvel's Captain America: The Winter Soldier which opens April 4th.
Once on the ground, Captain American with the help of the Chivas USA Mascot, the Chivas Fighter both shot film goodies into the crowded soccer venue.
