JOKER: FOLIE A DEUX director Todd Phillips posted a first look at Arthur Fleck's (Joaquin Phoenix) future partner-in-crime/girlfriend Harley Quinn played by Lady Gaga on Valentine's Day. The sordid love affair originates in Arkham Asylum, and the sequel will explore the start of that patient and inmate relationship.
Phillips shared the image on his Instagram account with the caption, "Happy Valentine's Day." It'll be interesting to see how the socially awkward Arthur will seduce Dr. Harleen Quinzel, a psychologist at Arkham, to the dark side. The new image of Arthur and Dr. Quinzel has the psychologist looking quite fascinated by the deranged murderer.
Unfortunately, fans have a long wait until JOKER: FOLIE A DEUX is released on October 2024.
